Chris Hudacek Medical Fund

Hi!

Unfortunately, Chris was in a pretty bad motorcycle accident a few days ago and is still in the hospital with various injuries. He was in the left turn lane when a car did an illegal u-turn and hit him and he flew threw the windshield of the car. He is currently in the ICU at Holmes Regional Hospital. He has sustained 9 fractured ribs, a right patella fracture, fractured T2, hemopneumothorax, and pulmonary contusions.

Update: After a MRI, he found out he also tore his left ACL, MCL, IT band, and ruptured meniscus on the left knee. He will need at least 2 surgeries! His first surgery will be August

10th!

We are so thankful he is okay and stable but he will have to battle a lot of recovery time, which comes with medical bills and being out of work for at least 6 weeks. Chris recently got a new job at Sea Pines as a physical therapy assistant, and was so excited to start working! He also recently got engaged to Erika, and they were planning on going to Europe on August 6th.

Chris and his family would greatly appreciate any prayers and good health vibes you can send in the next coming weeks. It will be an uphill battle, but this just shows how strong Chris is!
