On May 6th, 2017 tragedy struck our family. My cousin's significant other of 13 years, father to her two daughter's with one due in just three weeks, was killed riding a dirt bike. He was out with some friends on a forest road when he ran through a forest sign that he could not see, he was air lifted to St. Charles Medical Center where the doctors did everything they could to try and bring him back, but were unfortunately unsuccessful.  

Chris and Ashley were soul mates, they had been together since high school and completely inseperable. I can't even try to imagine the hell Ashley is going through loosing her soul mate, the father of her children so early and tragically. To imagine that his three girls will not get to know the selfless, loving and caring man their father was. How truly and unconditionally he loved all of them and that his youngest never got to see his face or feel his loving touch.

Both Chris and Ashley were the first to jump if anyone needed anything, but never asked for anything in return. This is Ashley's darkest hour and still she is not asking for aything, but loving on others who are also hurting and staying strong for her small children.However it is our time as her famiy, friends, co-workers and community to come together and help her out. She is now the soul provider in her home and with an upcomming baby she will need to take time to heal and care for her girls. She does not want help financially with her bills or personal needs, she just wants to burry her soul mate propperly. She is handeling this better than anyone I know could and is doing her best to work even through the hell she is in.  Whatever you can give would be so greatly appreciated and if you can not give, just pray for her and her girls as they could use all of the love and support they can get.
