Chris Hansen Memorial Fund

Donation protected
A wonderful father, son, life partner, brother, and friend, Chris Hansen lost his battle with cancer.  Chris and his life partner, DeAnne Roth, owned FLUX, a Mid-Century Modern furniture and design and retail shop. We grew up in Indianapolis and spent summers as children in Canada where our father, Jim, played in the orchestra for the summer music festival.  Our mom instilled in Chris the love and legacy of art and music. Chris did not want a funeral or a memorial.  Many wonderful friends and extended family have asked if there is anything that they can do to support the family. Chris leaves behind a son, Ian Hansen, who is a sophomore at Ball State University.  Chris was always proud of Ian's budding sports journalism career and enjoyed sharing the stories that were being picked up by the internet.  He was proud of Ian's choice of his alma mater to pursue his education which would better prepare him for that future.  Ian worked hard in his freshman year and was selected this year to be the Sports Editor of the Daily News. The photo included is from their last trip together this summer. We would like to make sure that Ian's education is supported and that his burden of educational loans be minimized.  If you are so moved, any donation is greatly appreciated.  We thank you for your kind support.
