On April 2, 2019 Chris suffered a 15 foot fall through a floor while at work. He has been transferred from ICU to Critical Care to recover from his devastating injuries. He suffered 16 broken bones, 8 of them ribs, a chest tube for the blood in his lung and he has bleeding on his brain. He is awake and is fighting to recover from these tragic injuries. It is still unclear how many surgeries are needed or how long he will remain in the hospital/rehab.

Chris started this new position two days prior to his accident for an “up-and-coming” company. Due to these circumstances, Chris does not have health insurance and workman’s comp is not guaranteed.

Until those details are hammered out, we are calling on all friends and family to help with the unforeseen burden of accumulating bills. As some of you may know, Chris’ partner Tara gave birth to their son in late December and was on maternity leave. Now, she has no paid time off from work and is forced to take leave without pay in order to care for Chris and their three small children.
