Please help our beloved friend Chris Grimmel with financial support for daily life costs and his upcoming medical expenses as he begins chemotherapy to battle a tumor on his pancreas.
Chris is one of the most warm, loving and light-filled people anyone is blessed to call a friend. He is a hard worker and is always there to lend a hand to those in need. He loves to hike and spend time in nature and he can make you belly laugh like nobody else. At 50 years old he has been diagnosed with a tumor on his pancreas, causing him to have to immediately, radically alter his lifestyle in myriad ways and adjust his work schedule as a full-time server at The Tuscan Table in South Portland, Maine to suit his chemotherapy treatment schedule, doctors appointments and resulting treatment illnesses that force him to lose out on critical money making shifts almost every single week.
Though he works as often as he can, it simply won't be enough to afford him enough money to pay his bills plus get him the care and rest he needs to win this battle. Luckily, he has a wonderfully supportive team of friends and family behind him including his loving best friend Dennis and Todd, the lovable Lisa Gagnon and Patricia Phillips, his amazing friend Gina Fournier his light-hearted roommate Jenn and her family from Dubois Cafe (who by the way have the best damn crepes), plus Emily Ouellette, Debra Morin Ouellette and the immediate Grimmel family and the Madore family, Joan Poulin, plus, all his lovely co-workers at Tuscan Table and beyond, including Nick Orgo and Lyndsey of Manecatering.
If you've ever loved someone who is battling a major illness like this, you know how important it is to support them in any and all ways. We have done and will continue to do our best as his support team but we are reaching out to all our extended social circles asking for a little gift of financial support, no matter how small. It takes many drops to fill a bucket full to the top so please help us meet this $7,500 goal, one drop at a time.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We appreciate you all.
Sincerely,
Team Grimmel
