Chris Gillespie Memorial Fund

There is nothing that will ever prepare you for the sudden loss of a loved one. All that we can do is hold onto the memories we shared and carry them with us in our hearts wherever we go.

The sudden passing of Chris Gillespie is met with such sorrow and pain as his friends and family remember and honor the wonderful life he led.


This fund is meant to help aid Chris's loved ones in easing such a heavy financial burden to allow them the time to grieve and find peace in the wake of such a sudden tragedy.

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart

Today I am so humbled and grateful. The outpouring of love and support I have received these last 24 hours has been keeping me going. This morning I didn’t want to get up, I didn’t want to start a new day where Chris wasn’t a part of it. But all of you, sharing your stories of Chris, and old photos. Laughing through all the tears. Your love for him, for us, helped me understand, that while I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him, I’m deeply honored knowing he spent the rest of his with me. I am beyond lucky to have all of you in my life. The ones that have seen me through the very worst of my life, the heartbreak after heartbreak. The ones that watched our love story unfold, from our first dates, to our crazy Comicon engagement in Philly, to our Friday the 13th Star Wars/Nightmare before Christmas wedding, and our first home. Now...in my darkest days...you’re all still rooting for me, for us. I won’t let you down. I won’t let him down. I thank you for your continued support as I start this new journey, and knowing I’m not alone. That I have hundreds of people cheering me on. Watch me rise!
