In Memory of Chris Fox - Funeral Memorial
On July 24, 2021 at 3:06 pm, first responders called the time of death for Christopher Allen Fox. He was pulled from the Skykomish River in Snohomish County where he and a good friend were camping and tubing. Kayakers noticed his body as well as the body of Chris's friend, Tad Henry, floating face down. Both men were pulled to shore and the good samaritans began CPR and called for help.
After working on the gentlemen for over an hour, both were pronounced dead. See news article: https://www.heraldnet.com/news/2-men-who-died-in-skykomish-river-are-identified/
Chris had his dog with him at the time. Peaches was rescued from the water and survived.
Chris had an infectious laugh, one that would make you happy just hearing it and he laughed about everything. His talent was endless. Chris had a beautiful voice and he could play the piano by ear. He was as kind as he was generous and he kept a positive attitude even in the roughest of times. From the richest of the rich, to the poorest of the poor, Chris would help those who needed it, and would give the shirt off his back and treat them with kindness and respect. He was indeed a bright light and he brought so much joy to so many.
So many friends have asked his family how they can help because everyone feels so helpless in a time like this. Chris had a huge impact on the lives of everyone who knew him. It would be wonderful to be able to help his mom Lynn with the expense of his funeral. Lynn is disabled herself, and also a widow. This would be such a blessing to her during this time.
