Chris’ Fight Against Gastric Cancer
Donation protected
Dear friends and family,
I’m reaching out to you today with a heavy heart, seeking support for my brother, Chris DeQuick, who was diagnosed with Gastric Cancer in August 2024. The past 8 months have not been an easy road, but Chris’ positivity and determination has helped him through this difficult journey. Chris underwent two different rounds of Chemotherapy with four cycles each and a Total Gastrectomy in December. He has completed his treatment at this time. He has an upcoming CT scan to confirm that he is cancer free. I will keep you updated as soon as I can.
Chris has always been the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back, who would show up for you no matter what. He's not just my brother; he's my best friend, and a pillar of strength for so many. But now, he is the one who needs us. He needs your support to face this challenge that feels too big to tackle.
He has always been there for those he cares about, offering his help, his kindness, and his sense of humor. Now, after facing the toughest battle of his life, I’m asking for your support to help him to continue to get the care and treatment he needs after fighting this disease.
We are hoping to help alleviate some of the financial burdens and allow my brother to focus on what matters most: getting better and spending time with his loved ones.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for any support you can offer. I truly appreciate the outpouring of love and kindness during this challenging time.
With gratitude and love,
