Chris Fason’s Fire Family Support Fund

It is with a heavy heart that we have to announce that Chris Fason has been diagnosed with stage 3 rectal colon cancer. The medical bills are piling up quickly. We want to help him as much as we possibly can. That is why I have created a GoFundMe. I’ve never done this before so I am sitting here trying to think of the perfect words to say to get this man the money he needs.

He has had multiple CT scans, and a cholostomy bag placed because his tumor was causing a blockage of his GI tract. He has undergone chemotherapy and as a result the tumors have grown and his lymph nodes have swollen. He is currently in the hospital in a great deal of pain. 

Fason has sacrificed much of his life including birthdays, Holidays, family functions and a lot of sleep. This fund raiser is a way for us to say thank you and show our support to someone who has chosen to serve our community. Mr. Fason has spent many of the last years serving the public of Hutchins and Wilmer as a firefighter/paramedic. He is currently battling for his life.

I want to ask for help for a man that has helped many. Serve a man that has served us. We have a big goal here. Fason needs our help, desperately. He is still attending work in Hutchins. This money will help him to afford the time off for treatments and also help with medical expenses. Give whatever you can. Anything helps.
