Chris' Emergency Medical Bills

Hi everyone. My name is Veronica Smith. A few months ago I had to rush my husband Chris to the emergency room after 3 days of not being able to keep any food or liquids down. Once we arrived at the ER we found out that there was a tear in his colon. He had to have emergency surgery on the spot. He was then hospitalized for 9 days after that. During that time, we were told that a large mass was the reason behind the tear. And then we were told the terrible news that the mass tested positive for colon cancer and it was stage 4. Since then we have been in and out of the hospital and just recently started treatments. My husband is a strong man and I too consider myself a pretty solid individual but this has been one of the toughest obstacles we have faced. I've had to witness my husband go through multiple surgeries and see him deal with pain after pain non stop. But through faith and the support of both of our families and close friends we have been able to tackle each step.

So let me get to why I am here. At the beginning when my husband was first hospitalized, my husband did not have health insurance. So the bills have piled up pretty quickly. I am just now trying to get organized with his medical bills. It has been rough to take the time to do it because I have been close to my husband's side trying to nurse him back to health. With that being said I am asking for any donation big or small that may help us put towards some payments.

I just want to take this time to thank our family for all their help and contributions. I don't know where we would be without you.
