Chris Dreizen’s fight for health and wellness

Hi, my name is Denny and I am fundraising for Chris Dreizen.

Chris has been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia also known as AML. He has an FLT3 mutation which is an aggressive form of blood cancer occurring in 25% of cases. The FLT3

gene mutation allows immature blood cells to

replicate rapidly. Statistically this form of

Leukemia has an unfavorable remission rate

with predicted relapses and subsequent

additional treatments.

The current treatment plan is an FLT3 inhibitor and a strict regimen of aggressive

chemotherapy over a course of 4 cycles. He is currently undergoing his first 28 day cycle

consisting of 6 hours of chemotherapy a day atNewYork-Presbyterian Cornell Hospital.
