Hi everyone, my dear childhood friend and college roommate, Debbie (Zombo) Dorin, recently lost her husband to cancer. Chris Dorin was diagnosed with stage 3 melanoma in December of 2021. This was shortly after he was diagnosed with a heart condition that required a pacemaker. Unfortunately, the family found out in late 2022 that the cancer had spread and Chris was in the fight of his life. He fought as hard as he could, but the cancer was too aggressive and took his life just several short months later at the age of 55. Chris passed on May 7, 2023. Debbie and Chris have 2 beautiful children, Jackie and Christopher, who are recent college grads and working to start their next phase in life.

As you can imagine, the medical bills have been piling up, and now as a single mother with one income, it has put financial stress on the family. As part of their village, we are trying to do everything possible to assist and try and ease the pain as best as we can. We are hoping this fundraiser will help the family with some of the medical bills.
