**Australia's First Gold Medal-Winning Para Archery World Champion Needs Your Help!**
This fundraiser has been set up to help cover post-surgery costs and the ongoing cost of living for Chris Davis.
Chris Davis, Australia's first gold medal-winning para archery world champion, has dedicated his life to his sport and his dreams. Unfortunately, Chris recently sustained a severe injury to his only functional limb, forcing him to withdraw from the Paris Paralympics and ending his hopes of competing this year.
Chris is scheduled to undergo urgent surgery this week to repair his damaged shoulder. This surgery is crucial not only for his independence and long-term health but also to keep his dream of competing and winning in para archery alive. The costs associated with the surgery and subsequent rehabilitation are substantial, putting a significant financial strain on Chris and his family.
In order for Chris to chase his para archery dreams, his wife Donna has been the sole income earner for their household. Now, with the costs of surgery aftercare mounting into the thousands, we are asking for your help to support Chris and his family during this challenging time.
Chris has an incredible story: he shoots his bow by biting on a mouth tab and drawing it back, a remarkable feat of determination and skill. Despite having only been shooting for just under five years, Chris has already shown that anything is possible if you set your mind to it.
He has unfinished business in the para archery world and aims to once again become a world champion, training towards the next Paralympic cycle. It is an absolute honor to support Chris in any way we can; he is one of the most humble and deserving individuals we know.
Please consider donating or sharing this campaign to help Chris get back to what he does best. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference.
Thank you so much for your generosity and support.
