This GoFund me account is for a dear friend, brother, husband, father, son and family member. Chris Davis is currently at Baylor Scott & White fighting for his life. On Sunday February 19, 2023, he went into cardiac arrest, lost consciousness and stopped breathing. His wife Derheta administered CPR while waiting on EMS to arrive. He is currently on a ventilator in critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit. We are asking for everyone to lift Chris, Derheta, Christen and Amyah up in prayer. James 5:16 states in part that “The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” We believe that God is a healer. While Chris is undergoing lifesaving treatment, Derheta has faithfully remained by his side and must take time off from work to ensure that she is with Chris throughout this difficult and lengthy healing journey. In addition, she is paying added medical, household and travel expenses to be with him while Chris fights for his life. Derheta is currently the sole provider for their household, and she is still trying to maintain some sort of normalcy for their youngest daughter Amyah. As you can imagine, this is very difficult considering the circumstances. Chris is a good man who has a heart of gold and has always loved and been supportive to his family and friends. He is a man of God who has offered prayers to those in need, was always available to give thoughtful advice and to offer a caring and listening ear. Now the Davis family needs OUR help.
