Chris Cespedes Road to Recovery

Our good friend, Chris Cespedes, was involved in a multiple vehicle/motorcycle accident on Saturday October 22nd. Around 5:30PM, a fellow bike friend got hit, which caused a truck to react and move out of that lane, when that driver moved lanes, not seeing Chris on his motorcycle, he ended up crashing into the back of that truck while the original car fled the scene.

Chris was in and out of consciousness for hours, repeating the same questions. He broke multiple bones in his wrist, his knee went into his joints creating air for high risk of infection, a torn quad, a broken nose, and overall really beaten up. We are so thankful that there is no life threatening or permanent damage.

Sunday at 3:30PM they took him into surgery and 5 hours later, everything went smoothly and he is expected to make a full recovery. We don’t know when he will be out of the hospital, but with his labor intensive job at the PPG plant, he will need at least 2 months to recover to get back to work. His amazing girlfriend, Aubrie will also be out of work to help with his recovery, as his whole left side is out of commission.

I’m reaching out on behalf of Chris and Aubrie during this emotional and hectic time. While not being able to work, and medical bills piling up, I felt the need to try and help ease this stressful time for Chris and Aubrie. Any and all donations will be so greatly appreciated and will be going directly towards Chris’ expenses while he is healing and not able to work.
