Chris Carlino and his dog, Stanley
Donation protected
My hard working son in law, Chris Carlino, just found out his long time career in the service department of Ryan’s Family Amusements might be over. The company, which owns a group of arcades and bowling alleys, was all set to open its arcades in Phase Three of Governor Baker’s reopening of Massachusetts when they were suddenly bumped to Phase Four- leaving the company financially strapped and in danger of failure.
Then Chris and Rebecca’s dog, Stanley, a lovable Podenco rescue, came down with a life- threatening infection which left him listless and unresponsive. Chris and Rebecca took Stanley to the vet every day for treatment and surgery. They sat for hours waiting in their car to be seen, but Stanley is finally on the mend.
Now faced with a veterinary bill of 3,000, Chris is battling an infection of his own. He has severe cellulitis, which caused his face to swell. The skin on his face is dying and the infection threatened his eyes and his brain. He needed IV antibiotics and surgery to remove necrotic tissue on his face. He is facing a long recovery, and the deductible on his health insurance will leave him with another 3,000 medical bill.
Chris and Rebecca are always the first to help others in need. Neither of them will stand by and let anyone they know go without. Rebecca and her son Jack are both disabled, but it doesn’t stop her from offering as much physical and moral support to others as she can. Please help them out in their time of need.
Donations to this Gofundme will go directly to Chris Carlino to pay Stanley’s veterinary bill and Chris’s medical bills and to help offset their expenses during this time.
