Hi, my name is Chris. I have been battling cancer for the last 15 years. Firstly, I started with testicular cancer. I received chemo treatments and surgery for it. Couple years later it returned in my right lung. Had a surgery for that. Couple more years later and it returned in my lymph nodes in my neck. They had to take out 100s of nodes in my neck. Couple more years after that I had terratoma behind my bowels. I went through an intensive surgery to remove that. About a year after that, I had over 30 hernias in my belly and they had to reopen my belly and fix all of those. Now, I have been told I am palliative with only months to live. As for the last scan I have had done I have 3 spots in my right lung, 2 spots in my left lung, one spot that’s pushing right up on my aorta and another spot close by the aorta as well. I have had lots of appointments back and forth from Sarnia to London. Which all takes gas money, ware and tear, hotel money, food money, parking fees, etc. I start radiation next week. With all of this going on, I have not been able to work. I have a family with a wife and 4 kids and it has been difficult to make ends meet with all of the above plus regular household bills.
