Among other treatments, his rehabilitation process will require rigorous, consistent therapy to strengthen his brain’s ability to create new neural pathways and essentially retrain his brain to execute proper speech production.
We would love to band together and raise money to lighten the load for his family so he receives the proper therapy, medication, and can cover daily expenses ensuring around the clock focus on his necessary treatments.
There are not a lot of guys like Chris. When he’s not working out, watching the game, or catching a bronze on the bike down the boardwalk, he’s slinging drinks at the NB Elks Lodge to the tune of the Reef Brothers on the weekends. He’s one of the strongest dudes we know, with a huge heart and a fiery passion for the Steelers that is second to none! He’s got jokes that make you laugh, whether they’re funny or not, and his knowledge for sports is unmatched!
Chris is an amazing Dad and he loves his family deeply. He is a real true friend to those around him and would be there for anyone if the roles were reversed. With everyone’s love and support we can get him back in Action! Any contribution will help him in his recovery. No amount is too small. We all miss him and can’t wait to get him healthy and back home to balboa. The Island just isn’t the same without him!
