If you knew Chris you knew he wouldn’t want a hand out and that’s not what this is.
Chris is survived by the love of his life, his wife Brittany, his Mother Deana, his stepfather Dennis, his Father Larry, his Brother Colby, his two puppers Ollie and Franky, and a lot of other really, really amazing friends and family.
He is truly a one-of-a-kind, beautiful, human being. He was funny, he was witty, sassy and he really fucking cared.
He was the closest thing to a brother I’ve ever had and changed my life for the better in so many ways. There are absolutely no words to express how we feel, we are devastated.
All of us down here in Texas know how much he meant to you, wherever you are... As well as the endless amount of stories we all are lucky to have shared with him. Listening to Chris tell stories was one of my favorite things in the world. There were so many chapters in Chris’s life and so many more that were supposed to come. There are groups of you that don’t know each other but we all know what a gem Chris Black was.
We started this page because a lot of people have reached out asking if they can help. There’s really not much to be done other than just remember the good times you had with Chris. Keep him alive in spirit and continue the legend he deserves. He overcame so much in such a short time and was headed for the moon.
This page is the easiest way I can think of to include everyone and let you know what’s going on and what comes next. If you would like to pitch in and help cover the funeral expenses feel free, but it’s by no means needed or necessary. Y’all know how proud he was to do things himself, this is just a way to be included if you would like to be.
All of us that were so close to him will be reading this page so if you would like to leave a comment with a good story or a memory or anything else that you’d like to share, that would mean so much more than money.
Let’s drink one for Chris. Give that boy a toast and celebrate his life. He’d truly love that.
