Hi,

My name is Bobbie (Barbara Gherlone) Davis. I am reaching out today on behalf of Chris and Sheila (formerly Ms Jackson and Ms O’Neill) Burns. North Haven and surrounding areas, know these two teachers and they are adored by so many that have passed through their classrooms or competed with Chris as their coach! Whether you watched Chris in Geography class draw a perfect circle or at Temple Street School had Sheila draw Sammy because you got a 100, the love of their students and athletes was always obvious.

As many of you know, Chris recently had some brain surgery and is now in rehab working hard on his recovery. Also as many know, medicare and insurances do not cover 100% of medical bills/rehab stay/necessities and sometimes doesn't even cover at all. This fundraiser is to help them offset some of the costs they have already faced and will be facing in the future. My hope is to give them a bit of comfort and relief from all of us that remember, know and love them. Thank you in advance for any donation, it is so greatly appreciated.
