On Monday 4/3 Chris was diagnosed with Influenza B. As the week progressed he wasn't improving with his symptoms related to the flu. On Wednesday 4/5 he required an ER visit for fluid replacement due to dehydration. Then on 4/6 he was brought to Ft. Hamilton Hospital via squad for respiratory distress. He was quickly admitted to ICU and was diagnosed with flu, dehydration, pneumonia and was in septic shock. While he has made huge strides towards improvement, he still requires extensive medical support. We are so thankful for the excellent care he has received and continues to receive in the ICU. He has a very long road ahead but we are all optimistic, hopeful and praying for a full and speedy recovery. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers! The response in wanting to help us ans our family has been so overwhelming and we are so blessed to have such an amazing support system of family and friends.
