Chris and His Journey With Thymic Carcinoma

In the summer of 2021, my 23 year old nephew was diagnosed with a rare form of Cancer known as Thymic Carcinoma. It is affecting multiple systems in his body and there is no cure, only managing the disease and focusing on the quality of his life.

His course of treatment will be very aggressive and begins on October 18 with multiple rounds of strong radiation and chemotherapy - and that is just to start. This is very serious and Chris has a tough battle ahead of him.

He had recently started his dream job in marketing, which is his passion. As well, my sister, Kelly, recently started her own home cleaning business, which was really taking off.

Chris' employer has been amazing, but of course, he will need time off for treatment and recovery. Kelly is hoping to manage continuing to develop her business, but she is fully committed to being there with Chris every step of the way, at each appointment. Not to mention caring for him during the treatments, which we are advised will be very hard on his body and mind.

Kelly and I quickly did the math yesterday and I knew I had to take action to help out!

Any help you can provide will go to helping to cover costs for things like medication, hospital parking, meals, incidentals, and the gap between savings/work. Other fundraising ideas are being developed as well!

I would love to provide both Chris and Kelly with some peace of mind so that they can focus on this fight!
