Chris and Abby's apartment fire

Hello friends. I'm reaching out for your help.

On Wednesday, our apartment block was set alight (unfortunately the fire started in the apartment directly adjacent to ours), destroying the entire apartment and everything in it. We were on the top floor of a beautiful, old Art Deco building that put our apartment closest to the burning roof, which under the weight of 80,000 litres of water from the fire brigade, collapsed and has rendered all of the contents of the apartment fire and water damaged, and likely also contaminated by the asbestos discovered by the fire brigade. Both Abby and I were elsewhere at the time of the blaze, so we are safe and well, but apart from that, alongside only an iPad, my phone, car keys and a book (titled "Letting Go", believe it or not!) all of my and Abby's belongings are unsalvageable.

We are in desperate need of financial assistance to help replace the usual things: clothes, laptop, opera scores and aria albums, Abby's gaming console, furniture, an electric piano, electrical/white goods, performance attire (like my concert tails, a dinner suit, dress shoes). Basic household items like toiletries, laundry products, bedding, kitchen staples and cleaning products will need to be restocked. Any kind of financial gift you can give in this life changing incident will help soften the blow and help get us back on our feet.
