Chris & Yolanda's House Fire Fund
Donation protected
My name is Terese and I have created this Go Fund Me page to help my dear friends Yolanda and Chris and their family that have been displaced by a tragic house fire the morning of July 16th. The fire marshall has determined the cause of the fire was an electrical issue in one of the rooms of the home.

Luckily, Yolanda's oldest daughter heard popping and glass breaking and saw the fire with enough time for the entire family and two dogs to escape unharmed. They are still sorting through their belongings in the home to see what might be salvageable. Their only means of transportation is a total loss. The most important thing is that they are all safe and material items lost can be replaced, but I am heartbroken that they have to go through such a tragic experience as this.
They were renting the home and there is no insurance to help with any of the added burden on the family. Any money raised will be used for expenses associated with temporary housing, transportation, expenses to establish a more permanent living arrangement and replacing items lost in the fire.
With the current state of our nation this family was already experiencing great hardships associated with the pandemic. Yolanda's husband has been unemployed due to Covid-19. Her oldest daughter was a senior in high school this year and has already missed out on so many turning of age milestones associated with graduation. I would like to turn this year around for my sweet friend. I would appreciate any help or support you can do to help them move past this trying time in their lives. Please help me get the word out this our community by sharing this link with your friends and family.
