Hey! I rescued Chowder on March 17th from Riverside County Department of Animal Services- a high kill shelter- as a foster. They neutered him on the 14th. He now is having complications and infection from being neutered and not having proper post operation care from the facility. He now needs surgical probing to check the abscess, testing/ labs, antibiotics, and pain meds- which is unfortunately money I don’t have (reasons I was fostering). If I bring him back to RCDAS, they’ll just put him down. He is the sweetest, most amazing dog and deserves all the love and good

Update!

Just saw a fantastic recommended vet- and they prescribed more meds and said he looks ok for now, he has bruising from the infection, to keep going with the antibiotics/ meds, and monitor him! I have a follow up appointment scheduled in a couple weeks! Thank you so much for all the support!!! Chowder and I really appreciate you all!
