Hello, we are ChorleyTuesday.net, a brand-new, bespoke, online advertising platform, specifically tailored to revolutionize the way local businesses advertise their services, products, promotions, events, jobs and even previously completed work, in real-time, to help attract and encourage a wider audience of local customers to use local businesses!
After spending most of 2024 brainstorming, planning, programming and working behind the scenes, we are incredibly excited to take the next big step: Launching ChorleyTuesday.net in JAN 2025!
The Vision was always to create an exclusive website advertising platform for all local businesses in Chorley district, to share their presence, services, products, promotions, events, jobs and more to one website, thus creating one centralized trusted credible online resource for people to visit and find local businesses to complete the task they require.
Furthermore, we also want to support local businesses by establishing a business networking community to help promote, encourage, engage and inspire business growth through collaboration, interaction and even online networking!
Why we need your Help
Well, for anyone who has ever started a business from scratch, we're sure you'd agree it is no easy task. So to bring this vision to life in 2025, we need your financial help with the final remaining tasks such as:
- Web Development: Post-testing the functional abilities of the site to bring the best DIY advertising service possible to local businesses
- Licensing & Legal: Various bodies and compliance-related fees
- Hosting & Security: Improving website performance, robustness, and enhancing the security to protect every user and visitor.
- Marketing & Launch: Spreading the word and getting the site into the hands of those local businesses who will benefit most, along with initial steps to establish our business networking community and additional work to travel around Chorley district to promote local businesses via our blog "Chorley-on-Tour"
- Ongoing Maintenance & Updates: Keeping the site fresh, functional up to date, and enhancing new functions as we grow and cater to different business types
We have personally invested around £40,000+ in design/development hours for the bespoke online advertising platform as we truly believe in the potential it has to grow and promote our great district of Chorley and the talented businesses we have all around it, now we're just looking to raise the remaining £8,000 to cover our final launch-related-costs as well as essential maintenance work desperately needed. Absolutely anything you can give will be greatly appreciated!
