Imagine having a head full of dreams but no way to chase them. Being able to go to school but no hope of going beyond grade 6 because your parents cannot afford to purchase basic necessities like uniform, books and lunch. Having so much talent and potential but no room to learn and explore.

This is unfortunately the plight of many children in various underprivileged communities. This month we are shining the light on the students of Chorkor Presby Elementary School in Accra Ghana.

With a dropout rate of almost 50% after grade 6, most girls in this community find themselves becoming mothers at their very tender age when they themselves need their mothers.

Help us help these future leaders by joining and donating towards our upcoming walkathon on September 14th at 9:30 AM at Mooney's Bay Park in Ottawa!

Every step we take together helps these kids get the tools they need to learn, create a safe and excellent learning space, and break the cycle of poverty that holds them back. We aim to provide scholarships to reward the top 10 students, inspiring them to reach for the stars!

See you at the walkathon!
