Choral Scholarships - supporting young singers

We are a community choir providing extraordinary experiences for ordinary people – and we are offering four choral scholarships to support young vocalists seeking a career in music.

We are offering scholarships of £600 per annum per scholar plus free membership of the choir.

Anyone over the age of 16 who aspires to a vocal career and would value the experience as a part of their personal development can apply.

We are delighted to have received funding of £400 per scholar from the Humphrey Richardson Taylor Charitable Trust and we are seeking your help to top this up to £600 per scholar. Any additional funds raised will cover their membership fees.

Any funds raised beyond that ambitious target will support additional scholars or adults wishing to join the choir who could otherwise not afford our membership fees.

Singing is good for both physical and mental health and, for our normal membership, we have no auditions. We aim never to turn anyone away on the grounds of financial hardship.
