A few months ago, at just 29 years old, I received news that completely changed my life — I was diagnosed with a rare form of uterine cancer. Hearing those words was terrifying, and in that moment, everything I thought I knew about my future shifted. My doctors told me the only way to remove the cancer was through a full hysterectomy.

At 29, having to make the decision to undergo a surgery that would take away my ability to have children was absolutely heartbreaking. It’s something I never imagined facing so young, but I knew I had to choose my life and my health.

The surgery was difficult, and recovery took several weeks. I was out of work for about 4–6 weeks while healing and trying to process everything that had happened. I returned to work hopeful and ready to move forward, but just one week later, I was let go. They said it was for “breaking company policy,” but after everything I had just gone through, it felt like yet another devastating blow — emotionally, physically, and financially.

Losing my job also meant losing my health insurance. Because my cancer is rare, I now have to get scans every three months to make sure it hasn’t returned. Those appointments are vital for my ongoing care, but without insurance, the costs have quickly become overwhelming. I applied for state insurance but was denied, leaving me unsure how to afford the medical attention I still need.

This has been one of the hardest journeys of my life — losing not only my health and stability but also the dream of one day becoming a mother. Still, I’m trying to stay strong, keep faith, and focus on healing.

I created this GoFundMe to help with my medical expenses and follow-up care as I continue to fight to stay cancer-free. Any support, whether it’s a donation, a share, or even kind words, means more to me than I can ever express.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for taking the time to read my story and for showing love and support during such a difficult chapter
