Hello - Sara & Joe here to make a special request to those willing and able to assist with an urgent matter regarding our fur baby, Chonk.

About two weeks ago, we were on our way to walk the doggos after work. I went back to the bedroom to grab a jacket, and Joe went to get the leashes. I could hear Joe suddenly yelling out for my help from the back room. I rushed to his aid only to find blood splattered everywhere! Much to our surprise and utter dismay, Chonk was bleeding from an unmentionable area.

Fast forward to today, and we now know Chonk has a relatively rare medical condition. So rare, in fact, this condition is glossed over in veterinary school. Many vets are told they will never see this condition in their practice, and many are inexperienced regarding its treatment. Fortunately, we have found an experienced veterinarian. Unfortunately, Chonk will have to undergo surgery, and this comes at a rather unfortunate time.

As many of you know, Joe and I are expecting our first child and the cost of surgery is an unexpected expense we are currently unable to afford.

You also know that Chonk and Mister are our whole lives. We would do anything for them. They bring us so much joy, and we are reaching out for help in the hopes that they have also brought joy to yours.

Joe and I thank you for any donation you may be able to provide. We know that times are tough for everyone, and we certainly appreciate any help you may be able to give to our Chonky boy.

His surgery is tentatively scheduled for Feb. 17th unless an earlier opening becomes available.
