Chonk kitty's recovery fund
Donation protected
Hello fellow cat lovers! Chonk kitty needs your help. Chonk is a semi-feral cat residing on the streets of Orange County. He recently showed up with a large, silver-dollar sized bloody puncture wound on his lower jowl/upper neck area. He has a 1-inch chunk of flesh hanging loosely from the site of the injury, which looks infected. He is clearly not feeling well.
My name is Abbie and I have a heart for cats. I was able to trap Chonk in a cage with some wet food and transport him to South Coast Pet Hospital in Santa Ana, where they provided me an estimate of $947.00. (Note: AN ITEMIZED ESTIMATE IS PICTURED FOR REFERENCE.) This will cover Chonk's wound recovery, anesthesia, 3 nights of medical boarding, all antibiotic/anti-inflammatory/pain medications, required vaccines & tests, and a much-needed neuter procedure so he no longer contributes to the kitten over-population problem.
I am in the process of moving apartments in LA, which can be extremely expensive, so I put this unexpected expense on my credit card for the time being because I couldn't bear to see Chonk suffer. Any financial help would be so appreciated, as I already spent a good amount of my own money taking care of a feral mamma and her two kittens earlier this year. Thank you in advance on behalf of Chonk!
PS: Once he is discharged from the vet, I will be acclimating Chonk to indoor living in my new apartment. My current apartment manager has threatened to have him and the other strays in the area picked up by OC animal control. While Chonk is shy and a bit skittish, he is a sweet boy who deserves a good life. I thank you for being a part of his journey to a safe and happy home!
