Chohu Ajah and his family

This is Caleb Badajos, and with a heavy heart I am fundraising for our dear friends, Chohu and Carol Ajah, who we served with for many years together in YWAM and they have faithfully served as missionaries in Nigeria and the Philippines.

Just last month, after complaining of sharp pains Chohu was diagnosed with advanced stage of cancer with several tumors found in his liver and abdomen. He was given a prognosis of 3-6 months to live. These past weeks the family has been busy coping with Chohu’s pain and health, while planning to return home to Nigeria to be with his family. Sadly, the Lord had other plans and called His son home this evening in the Philippines on Aug 8, 2023 -7:35pm.

Chohu was just 44 years old, a fearless preacher, talented artist and musician. A man wholehearted for the Lord and so full of life, which is why this is so shocking for us. But we know and have the assurance of our faith that Chohu is now completely healed and resting in the arms of His Lord and Savior.

Still our hearts break, especially for the family he leaves behind. Please continue to pray for his wife, Carol and two sons Elijah (11) and Elisha Ce Bene (8).
