Chocksgoaway. Save Our Countryside
Hello, we are chocksgoaway, we are residents of Little Mongeham, Northbourne, Great Mongeham, Sutton, East studdal and other East Kent villages.
Dover District Council have granted permission for the land owners and developers NOT to have to submit an environmental assessment with a planning application to put an AIRSTRIP, 2 hangers, 20 light aeroplanes and helicopter access and possibly more, between Willow Woods Road, Little Mongeham and Mill Lane/ Coulson Grove Northbourne.
The airstrip will affect several villages (Little Mongeham, Great Mongeham, East Studdal, Northbourne and Sutton) and properties close to the flightpath with noise, pollution, wildlife, landscape, amenity impact, businesses and 100's of residents.
All this disruption for a tiny number of people and their noisy unsustainable hobby. The land owner in question owns a lot of land and properties in the area, so we will have a fight on our hands.
We are collecting donations for leaflets, placards, newsletters, correspondence and advice. Please help to keep our communities safe and our green land green.
