JOHN ARTHUR PALMER
We are saddened to announce the passing of John Palmer. He leaves behind his wife and constant companion of 31 years, Susan Lyn Palmer. John suffered for many years with poor health, beginning with heart conditions in the late 1990’s, transpiring into a quadruple bypass forcing him into disability. Honorably discharged Air Force Veteran, he never backed down from hard work. His love of travel and adventure of a 30 Year career as a long-haul truck driver ended at an early age. He passed away of complications of stage 4 lung cancer which had metastasized to his brain. The diagnosis came on March 7th, his death a very short time later.
Susan has been the sole provider for 13 years. No life Insurance companies would insure him, no money left over after medical bills and everyday expenses, and unable to pay for his cremation; the family is asking for donations in lieu of flowers.
After funeral and final expenses, additional monies collected will be used to assist Susan with living expenses for the foreseeable future, as well a multitude of honey-does started but left unfinished. For example she lives on a plywood floors with the expectation that someday she will have a beautiful vinyl floor. Any donation is greatly appreciated
