Chloe's Urgent Need: Home and Health Support

Hi, my name is Chloe, and I’m reaching out because I’m in a really vulnerable place right now. I’m doing everything I can to stay housed, take care of myself, and keep my two cats safe—but unexpected setbacks have left me overwhelmed and out of options.

I work in education and normally support myself just fine. But due to unexpected budgeting changes at my job, I’m not receiving my full pay again until the end of August. On top of that, I’ve been battling chronic illness that’s made it hard to stay on top of everything, emotionally and financially.

I was also recently hit with a $250 citation, and I can’t legally drive or do delivery work to earn extra income because my car registration is expired and I can’t afford to renew it. I’ve applied for rental assistance and emergency aid, but so far I haven’t received anything—and now I’m falling behind on rent.

I live alone and was recently left by my partner, so I’ve been carrying everything—my health, my bills, my household, and my two cats—entirely on my own. I’m not looking for a handout. I’m just trying to stay above water and avoid losing my home during this incredibly difficult time.
