Firstly, thank you so much for visiting my page. A few people have inquired about how they can help me and suggested making a GoFundMe so here we are - any donations towards my cause are hugely appreciated... From the bottom of my heart. 

Since I was a little girl, I have battled with eczema successfully until about 4 years ago when things got bad. 


I have been seen through the NHS for the last 3 years, trying various different treatments but with no luck - in fact my skin has got increasingly worse, struggling with increasingly scary infections - most significantly on my face.

As well as being painful, my skin has affected my life in all sorts of ways. My mental health has deteriorated massively, I’m not able to do a lot of things that I used to be able to do. From socialising to dying my hair - from wearing certain things to hugging people, so many things have changed due to my skin, and I’d really really like for that to not be the case at some point in the near future. 


As much as I adore and am grateful for our NHS, I feel as though I’ve slipped through the system without adequate care. With appointments being anything from 5-8 months between each other and not seeing the same doctor each time, things get missed and my confidence breaks even more. When I desperately needed help from my dermatologists, it wasn’t there, and I have had to resort to A&E visits twice in the last month to seek help. 

I’m creating this fundraising page to help cover some costs of private medical care - this will allow me to build a plan with a dermatologist and see the same person on a regular basis and hopefully, go some way to getting me on the right path to get better. 

Money raised will initially be spent on private dermatology consultations but may also end up going towards therapy sessions, dieticians, prescription costs and more. Basically - you're helping me get closer to the version of myself I was before this condition took over my life. 

Any money we raise over that amount will either go on more appointments or if they’re not needed, the money will be donated to a chosen charity, likely to be mental health related.
