Hi we are the parents of Chloe. Chloe is 20 and grew up with A.D.D ADHD and ODD and alway struggle with mental health. Chloe has developmental delay so even though she’s 20 she presents has a 13rto 14 year old. The last few years it has gotten worse when she started to have seizures. We have done multiple testing to find out they are caused by anxiety. The last few months when she comes out of these seizures she gets very angry and aggressive. Hurting herself and telling us she wants to die. she has to be sedated and restrained by police or hospital staff weekly or multiple time a week. Chloe has been formed one multiple times where we have stayed with her in the isolation room. Has her parents we need help to support her in these times one of us always has to be with her or available to meet her at the hospital We both work full time and have missed a lot of time away from work we both decided that one of us will need to take time away from our job to support her while we navigate the heath care system and get her the best care possible. With Christmas around the corner and having other kids this is a very difficult time for our family so please find it in your heart to help my baby girl be the best she can be And support her mental health journey. When Chloe is not in distress She spends a lot of her time volunteering in a nursing home where everyone loves her. Our Christmas Wish is for Chloe to get the best medical treatment out there The best counselling and what else she needs to help her cope with her struggles. Thanks in advance
