Help Chloe Colbert Recover from Critical Illness Abroad
Dear friends, family, and compassionate supporters,
We’re reaching out on behalf of our beloved Chloe, who is currently in the Netcare Unitas Hospital in Pretoria, South Africa, facing life-threatening medical complications.
Chloe traveled from Atlanta, GA to be by the side of her daughter, Samone, who is currently volunteering in Rwanda. Samone required emergency gallbladder surgery and was transferred to Pretoria for treatment. Without hesitation, Chloe made the journey — because that’s who she is: always showing up for her daughter and others.
Shortly after arriving, Chloe suffered a medical crisis herself and was admitted to the Cardiac ICU. She is now battling severe complications from, a thyroid storm which severely elevated her diabetes, and created a heart condition that may require surgery. She is undergoing critical treatment, including an angiogram today, in addition to any other procedures and medications. They have promptly given her bills after every service.
So far, the family has exhausted all funds available. But they are now facing an estimated $65,000 USD in additional urgent medical expenses, including ICU care, diagnostics, medications, and recovery costs.
We know how proud Chloe is — she has always been the one to give quietly, help generously, and love deeply. She would never ask for help for herself, and But she needs us now.
We’re asking for your support — whatever you can give — to help ease this enormous financial burden and allow Chloe to focus on healing. No donation is too small. Every bit makes a difference.
Please give if you can, and share this with your networks. Let’s surround Chloe with the love, support, and resources she so greatly needs right now.
With gratitude,
David, Anita Lorraine, and Deborah (Debbie)
