Chloe’s LASER guides trip to South East Asia 2025

Hello. I’m Chloe and I’m 15 years old. I have been in girlguiding for a number of years. A few months ago, I applied for an international girlguiding trip in the summer of 2025. I had to persuade the leaders that I should be chosen for this trip out of the other hundreds who have applied. I was then selected along with over a hundred others for a final selection day. This took place in London, in which in groups of 6 we had to travel around London whilst being observed and assessed, by our capability and our ability to get on with others. And if they think the trip would even suit us! Following the selection day, ONLY 24 girls were chosen (to go on one of the trips) out of 170 or so that made it through to the selection day. 2 weeks later, I received an email to say that I am one of those girls who had been selected. And the trip is to SOUTH EAST ASIA for 2-3 weeks. We will be visiting and staying in Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and Malaysia. I can’t wait, I’m so excited as this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. For this trip I need to raise £3,200 for the trip, plus spending money and money for equipment. Any money given will go towards making this possible, and will be very much appreciated. Every little helps! Thank you.
