Chloe's journey with Fanconi Anemia

Donation protected
Chloe is a happy and caring 6 year old who loves to go to school, read, dance, and tell jokes.

She has Fanconi Anemia which is a DNA-repair disease that can lead to bone marrow failure, leukemia and also leaves them at a very high risk of developing head and neck tumors at a young age. There is no cure for FA at this time.

Chloe's blood counts and marrow have been declining and she now needs a bone marrow transplant in Toronto 17.5 hours away from home. This procedure will only fix her blood and bone marrow. This is the first of many hurdles she will face dealing with this disease.

The process / procedure is a little different and more risky for FA patients as they can not have a full dose of chemo and many other drugs as it is fatal to them. So they will need to come up with a special mixture of drugs to mix with the smaller doses of chemo to clear her cells in prep for the new cells.

I will need to take a leave of absence from work which will cut our income in half for around 9 months and needing to be away from home for about three months.

Family and friends have asked us to set up this page. So if you would like to personally help us on our journey it would greatly appreciated.

Chloe care needs to be our focus right now not balancing bills at home and the cost of being in Toronto for approximately three months.

Prayers alone would be great if you can not financially support
