Chloe's Ireland Study Abroad Trip

Hi! My name is Chloe Vasquez. I am currently attending Valdosta State University on a scholarship as an elementary education major. I have been given the opportunity to study abroad in Ireland this summer. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity, and it will allow me to immerse myself in a different culture and see the world from various perspectives. Immersing myself in the rich culture of Ireland will not only make me a better person but also a better educator.

I've never been very adventurous, and doing things like this usually terrifies me, but this trip could be life-changing. It will allow me to push myself out of my comfort zone and discover new parts of myself. By stepping outside what's comfortable, I'll learn to navigate challenges, adapt to new environments, and build self-confidence. These experiences will help me grow and make me more open-minded and empathetic toward others. These qualities will also help me as a future teacher.
