Help Chloe Receive a Psychiatric Service Dog

Dear friends, family, and kind supporters, Thank you so much for your generosity and compassion over these past months. Your support helped Chloe receive the intensive treatment she needed in Toronto — a critical step in her mental health journey, and one we couldn’t have taken without you. Today, Chloe's journey continues with a new and hopeful chapter: she has been selected as one of only 40 recipients (from over 2,000 applicants) to receive a specially trained psychiatric service dog from a leading program paws for people foundation in North Carolina. This service dog will be life-changing — offering emotional stability, safety, and daily support that will help Chloe regain confidence and independence. We now turn our focus to this next step and are asking for your continued support as we work to cover the travel and training costs involved in bringing her service dog home.

The Total Cost While the dog itself costs $100,000 USD, thanks to generous corporate sponsors, the family is only responsible for $10,000 USD (approx. $14,000 CAD). However, this still presents a significant financial challenge. In addition, Chloe and her mother will need to travel to North Carolina three times as part of the process: ✈️ October – 1 week for initial introduction ✈️ November – 3 weeks of intensive training ✈️ January – 1 week for final training and graduation.These trips involve flights, and related expenses, which are not covered by the foundation.

Chloe has spent two months in Toronto to receive special treatment for her mental health, Chloe suffers from ADHA, extreme depression and anxiety which has contributed to 3 suicide attempts and self harm the treatment in Toronto came at a significant cost of approximately 40000$ which with overwhelming help we had raised over 25000$ for the treatment in Toronto but now Chloe has this beautiful opportunity to receive an extra tool in her belt.

We are trying to raise an extra 20000$ for this service dog. Every dollar brings Chloe closer to receiving the life-changing support she needs.
