Hi everyone!

My name is Chloe! I'm an artist, an amateur historian, the manager of a comics shop, and a trans woman! I have been fighting for Facial Feminization Surgery for several years now, and my insurance has denied my request for coverage. I'm in the process of appealing and re-appealing that decision, but in the meantime, I'm trying to fund what would be my deductible if my insurance covered the procedures. Unfortunately, even with a very optimistic assumption that my insurance will cover any part of my surgery, I am still living paycheck to paycheck. It's been very challenging to find and hold work as a visibly trans woman, especially in the current ecosystem.

While I have a vibrant social life, incredible friends, and the life-fulfilling love of my partner, my dysphoria regarding my appearance has only gotten worse lately. I've tried everything I could before surgery to mitigate these feelings, but I just can't maintain these negative feelings organically anymore. If you could please share whatever you are comfortable with and spread the fund around to friends and family, I would greatly appreciate it!
