Chloe's battle with Cushing's Disease & High Blood Pressure

UPDATE:
CHLOE HAS CONFIRMED CUSHINGS DISEASE
She also has extremely high Blood Pressure and vision loss.
On Jan 7 we received a call from our Vet to confirm Chloe does indeed have Cushing's and is fairly advanced. Hers is Pituitary dependent hyperadrenocorticism. Which means she has a Pituitary gland growth on her brain that is inoperable. We are starting her on medication, a compounding formula twice a day for the rest of her life. The medication is roughly $200 a month. We still need an ultrasound to see why her liver in enlarged and she will need regular bloodwork and testing. Because we have already been dealing with skin infections, hair loss and loss of vision and weakness the vet feels we have discovered this very late.
We are praying that the medication will slow the progress and we can have more years with her, however we are aware that life expectancy can be 4 months to 2 years once diagnosed. Please continue to pray for Chloe and us as we walk this journey and give her the best life possible.

As some of you know, just before Christmas our sweet Chloe had become very sick. We rushed her to the vet because her breathing was very rapid and laboured and we needed to make sure she was getting enough oxygen. It turns out that Chloe has dangerously High Blood Pressure, and this has been causing her declining eye sight. It also appeared that Chloe had many signs of advanced Cushing's Disease, so we needed blood work and an x-ray to make sure she had room to breathe.
The x-ray showed an enlarged liver.

Last week we needed to do further testing and it was not a confirmed Cushing's diagnosis, which meant we could not start a treatment plan for her. On Jan 3 we had her back in for an 8 hour blood panel and we are waiting for those results now. After that we will need to do an ultrasound as her liver is very enlarged and her cortisol levels are dangerously high. The ultrasound will 100% confirm the Cushing's Disease and if it is in her brain or kidneys.

Once this is complete we will have a plan to keep her as comfortable as possible and hopefully slow down the disease.

To say we are shocked and heartbroken is an understatement. We will do whatever is needed to save her life, however the costs are adding up and I have drained my savings account. Living on a pension does not leave a lot of extra, that's for sure.

Many of you have asked me to start a GoFundMe as you would love to help and donate.
THANK YOU every penny helps and it will all go to Chloe's care, if there is anything left it will be donated to the rescue we got her from and the one I volunteer with. Pawsitive Animal Rescue in Squamish.
Here is a little history on Chloe.

Chloe was dumped in a high kill shelter in Southern California just after having puppies. As an owner surrender they are usually the first to be euthanized. Literally 2 hours before she was about to be killed Pawsitive Animal Rescue pulled her and she was taken to a foster home before making her way to Vancouver. We had been fostering for the rescue and we were asked if we could take her. Well it was love at first sight. This sweet loving traumatized girl quickly became part our family. She had several issues to work through and to this day you cannot crate her or make any loud noises. March will be 5 year that we have had her and she is roughly 6.5 years old.

We cannot imagine a world without Chloe. I have spent the last 5 years volunteering with the rescue and helping as much financially as I can, now I need your help to save my girls life.
