It is my great pleasure to announce that I, Chloe DesRoche have been selected to represent Canada on the Women's Rowing team at the FISU (International University Sports Federation) 2015 Summer University Games in Gwangju, South Korea. This is an multi-sport, Olympic style competition held for University athletes around the world. I am both honored and excited to represent Queen's University and Canada.
Over the last four years I have been working toward this goal- of racing at the international level. I am currently a full time student, doing a Masters in Medical Computing at Queen's Universtiy while training as a competitive athlete.
The World University Games are a tremendous opportunity, unfortunately, they also create a huge financial burden. As a student, this financial commitment is unrealistic to achieve unless additioanll support is found. Any contribution will be truely appreciated.
