Chloë post-surgery recovery fund

Chloë Engel, a person we all admire and support, is having her third phyllodes tumor excised (removed) on February 13th in NYC. Her last surgery was supposed to remove all of the tumor, but in an unfortunate turn of events, her tumor grew back within 6 months. Her case has been flagged and finally is being taken more seriously.

She will be recovering for a month unable to work. Her jobs require heavy lifting: childcare, yoga teaching, and bar-backing. She works hourly, and therefore does not have benefits of sick leave or paid time-off.

This GoFundMe is an effort to make her healing time more comfortable and financially stable. She has been working her ass off for the past two months and deserves time and money to rest and recover. She only took a week off last time around, and that is not acceptable!!!!
