Chloe Middleton & Chaise Selwyn, Vinny Steven Selwyn

Hello everyone My name is Steven AKA Uncle Sticky. I’m creating this GoFundMe in support of my beautiful friends Chloe, Chaise and their family.

On 29 November 2024 they welcomed their son Vinny Steven Selwyn into the world very unexpectedly and 17 weeks prematurely, weighing in at 740 grams.

He was placed in the NICU at RNSH and was classed as a micro preemie due to his gestation. He was intubated and monitored. And things were looking good at first but started to decline over the next two days.

Sadly, Vinny had suffered from a grade 4 intraventricular haemorrhage which is a severe type of bleeding in a newborn's brain that occurs when blood presses on or directly involves brain tissue around the ventricles.

Because of this prognosis he was unable to stay with his mum and dad and siblings and sadly gained his angel wings on 1st December 2024.

The pain of losing a child is indescribable, and something no parent should ever have to go through.

I’m just trying to help in any way we can by lessening the financial burden of having to pay for and organise a funeral. The outreach Chloe has had from people has been absolutely beautiful. Friends, family and strangers who have followed her journey through social media. I have had some very kind people ask what they can do for Chloe and Chaise, are they able to send flowers, chocolates a small gift? I think at this stage a small donation towards giving their boy Vinny a beautiful send off would be so comforting to them.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out, it has been so overwhelming and beautiful to see the amount of love that people have for my friends.
