Hi my name is Marie and I'm fundraising for my daughter Chloe.
Help Bring Chloe Home – She Deserves Dignity, Independence, and Support
Chloe’s world has been turned upside down.
She was admitted to hospital with a spinal injury — able to walk when she arrived. But in just a short time, her condition has worsened so severely that she can now only manage a few steps with a frame.
She's now been diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder(FND)- a life changing condition that's going to require constant treatment and management.
She’s in constant pain, stuck in hospital awaiting rehab. The local rehab has refused to take her as her needs are too complex.
Chloe also lives with severe Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), Autism, Attention- Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and is in the process of being diagnosed with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) — all of which complicate her treatment and recovery. She needs very specific mobility support, but so far, the NHS has failed her at every step. Promised help hasn’t materialised, and Chloe has been left feeling forgotten — isolated, frightened, and trapped.
Chloe's only option of rehab is a specialist in London but the wait list is 12 months, her only option now is to fund therapy privately. A single session of hydrotherapy is £120 per hour. A neurological physio is £100 per hour!
We’re trying to raise £10,000 towards the specialist treatment that Chloe needs to finally allow Chloe to come home, regain some independence, and return to the job she loves. Any extra funds will go towards further treatment and making her home accessible, starting with a vital downstairs toilet so she can live with some comfort and dignity.
Chloe is only asking for the basics — to be safe, mobile, and surrounded by the people who love her. Please, if you can, help us get her there. Share, donate, spread the word — it all makes a difference.
Thank you so much for caring.
