On March 17, 2019 at 5:52pm, Mom took her last Earthly breath.  She lost the battle of an aggressive, rare cancer for 4 years but she most definitely won at life.

A selfless woman—she dedicated 38 years of her life to teaching. She was also a pioneer in bringing Montessori to the Imperial Valley.
Not a day went by in her 68 years that she didn’t share her infectious smile.
Unfortunately, Mom had cashed out her life insurance to pay for medical bills with her first round of cancer.

We are facing the astronomical costs of funeral/burial/memorial expenses.  Adding to the expenses are transportation logistics, since she will be flown to Santa Clara, CA for her burial.

Mom would give the shirt off her back or let you have her last dollar. We are hoping that we can send her on her next journey with a farewell she deserves.
