Help Fund Chippo's Last Days (Family's Last Wish)
Donation protected
When Chippo was born, his fate brought many misfortunes: his mother left when he was just 1 year old, his little sister was only 14 days old. Both siblings were raised and cared for by their father and grandparents.
It seemed like fate would change when they set foot in the United States - being in a good living environment, a civilized country which would partly compensate for the deprivation he had when he was young. But no, life is not easy - as simple as that! It's too harsh and cruel towards Chippo.
After enduring pain, vomiting, not being able to eat or drink anything for many days, the doctors finally found the cause.
He was diagnosed with Desmoplastic small round cell tumor - a very rare type of cancer. There are only 200 people in the world that have it and doctors have not yet found a cure or medicines to treat it. Chippo's case is one of the worse since the tumor has spread throughout his organs.
Chippo's family has been going through a very difficult time for the past 2 years since Chippo got sick. His stepmother had to take time off work so she could take him back and forth to the hospital for tests, medication, blood transfusions... almost every day. His whole family only lives on his father's income with dozens of expensive expenses in Seattle.
In the past 2 years of treatment, Chippo has been suffering physically and mentally with all the effects of chemo. Currently Chippo's health situation is getting worse - the worst case is about to happen. The family is about to face the next huge difficulties.
The family's current wish is to be able to take care of Chippo's funeral and bring him back to Vietnam to be next to his grandparents, the two people who always protect and love him until his last breath.
Please help Chippo's family's wishes come true and help his family overcome this difficult and painful period.
The family is very grateful.
